Re: Print with rubber on your Lulzbot!
I noticed that the gcode was generated for 0.5mm nozzles. I have a 0.35mm nozzle so I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for layer sizes to print this extruder? I had some issues attempting to print using .3mm layers.

Re: Print with rubber on your Lulzbot!
I think the bottom mounting holes are just missing at the moment.. they can be drilled in after the fact for now easily enough without impairing structure. The other side hole i'm thinking is deliberatly filled in to give that side hole better dimensional stability while printing, but that's just a...

Re: Print with rubber on your Lulzbot!
We modified 0.2 to place two holes at the bottom for the hot end. In addition, we extended the hole for the set screw. We use Solidworks here so hopefully the translations went ok.

Re: Print with rubber on your Lulzbot!
While in the middle of printing version 0.2, I noticed that this part does not have the same two holes in the bottom for attaching the hot end. Is this by design or did I just get a bad version? I also noticed that the hole for the m3 machine screw on the side doesn't go completely through to where ...

Re: Print with rubber on your Lulzbot!
Things are starting to get clearer for me
Is there any way we could get a photo of the other side of the extruder? There are just a couple of more things I'm confused about. Please pardon my ignorance..

Re: Print with rubber on your Lulzbot!
This looks very exciting. I printed the extruder yesterday. Do we have a complete BOM yet? I noticed there is a screw on the side that I don't think I have (I am running a TAZ 1). Are you guys going to sell the filament?
Thanks,
Marty

Taz Gears slipping.
Hi, I wanted to log this issue in case someone else experiences it. I want to express my gratitude to Claudio for his patience. I noticed that my filament was not extruding properly so ran a few extrusion tests. While running, I found that the gears were slipping and very little filament was being e...

Source for bed clamp spring
Does anyone have a source for the bed spring on the TAZ? If it is the same spring as the A0-101, then the BOM says the part number is HD-MS0028. I looked on the website to see if I could buy one, but I didn't see it
If I missed it, could someone send me a link.
Thanks,
Marty

Re: Y axis setting
Using only three of the bed finger clamps turned out to be problematic. Last night, while printing a larger part, the left back bed finger clamp popped out and the spring flew out into the ether. So I loosened the eight screws which hold the Y-Axis bolt assemblies and slid the Y-Axis bed forward unt...

Re: First print
I ran several tests last night and this morning with the translucent light blue PLA filament. Oddly enough, 220C seems to work the best. I haven't experienced any jams in four prints using this temperature and before I was unable to complete one. Anyone else there using this filament?
