Re: Difference Between SE & SL Tool Heads?

The aero style toolheads have made nozzle swapping more difficult. But its still better than paying 300 for a toolhead. Just takes some practice, remove fan shroud, heat up to 250, turn power off to prevent shorts if mistakes made, hold heat block with wrench and unscrew nozzle with other wrench, th...

Re: Print bed rises and lowers on left side when moving

The bed bearings are worn and need replacing. I bet if you look at the side of a print that faced the left you would see two indents on the print evenly spaced.

Re: washers not laying flat after bed upgrade

Good luck. I dealed with this issue with support and got absolutely no where. The issue is the standoffs are 10mm tall. the flexy mounts should be 5mm thick at spot where heater rests(but mine were all out of spec, some were 5mm and some were 5.2mm, also very rigid with no squeezing possible). The g...

Re: Replacement nozzles for Taz4 Budaschnozzle

I would suggest replacing with aero hotend setup or an all metal from the taz 5's. Eventually buda parts are going to be difficult to find. I can look through my parts bin and see what I got, it would all be used mostly though.

Re: Modular Bed fitting to TAZ 6

Its the exact same issue with the Mini Gladiola versions. The parts add up too tall and the washers are all angled. Support is complete crap for the issue, it annoyed me so much I just put it back in box and dont even use it. But my experience with the taz modular bed isnt much better for my taz 5, ...

Re: choices for other heated bed

My experience with the Taz modular bed is it is crap for abs. I put it in back in the box and went back to the old setup. Theres a large enough gap between glass and metal plate to shove card stock paper in with no tension felt.

Re: Calibration Cube Taz6

You adjust the steps/mm, but for that small variance I wouldnt worry. 3d printing isnt going to get an exact measurement due to material shrinkage and such.

Re: Bought a used 5, and it's in sad shape.

You should be able to get any parts needed from sales@lulzbot.com, I have emailed them a few times when something isnt listed on site or shows out of stock.

Re: Lulzbot Mini requires huge maintenance

I dont see how that switch could have caused any of your issues. Thats the one on the right side of machine. The mini doesnt home to that side at all. The only purpose of that switch is to stop the toolhead from hitting right side of machine if code has it move outside its travel limit. The mini hom...
