Maybe add in the 10MM rod/ bearing upgrade that everyone was doing awhile ago? I bought the parts and never did it. But going to try it this week.

I use this Spatula and it works great. Super cheap add on if you have Prime too.

I have too noticed that my power supply stays on when the printer is turned off. I can hear the fan power itself on every few hours. Which I find odd. Maybe I'll get in the habit of shutting off the power supply as well.

BC123 Can you show a picture of what you did . Thanks I did this as a quick fix. My PLA prints kept jamming abour 2-3 hours in. Any more info on the Flexy Hex for the Taz 5?

I have an extra hotend and going to covnert it. But I don't want to have re invent the wheel if its already been done and semi documented.

Alternatively, it shouldn't matter as long as it matches on the other side. A wire is a wire. It makes no difference what color the sleeves are... if you switched it on the female side, switch it on the male side as well. Unless of course you already did both sides and crossed it...
