Re: TAZ modular bed... metal plate sags.

Yeah... I haven't revisited this issue other than the small binder clips which seem to help trap the air on the edges. It works, so its holding up. its unfortunate to hear that even a 3mm thick aluminum plate sags from the weight. That doesn't bode well for a standalone 5mm PEI sheet... which was my...

Re: Dual V2

A little late... hope you found the assembly directions for the Flexy-Dually V2 which should be pretty close if not the same directions:

Re: TAZ 6 Bed leveling problems

The TAZ 6 auto-levels before each print. Is that procedure working properly? Have you switched slicers or are you trying to print a gcode file? The only other thing I can think of is to check that the printer is on a level and stable table.

Re: 1.75mm on TAZ workhorse

I used to find 3mm filament at Microcenter stores, but not sure what the recent stock is. eSUN ABS is usually available on Amazon. I also buy bulk from eSUN filament from intservo.com.

Black and White ABS is what I usually feed through my TAZ5.

Re: Is ABS Dishwasher Safe/OK?

Be careful with FDM prints and food. Use a stainless steel nozzle to minimize exposure to lead. There may be little gaps between the layers that can be difficult to clean.

Re: Dual V3 bed alignment

There are a few ways to adjust the "level" of the printhead nozzles. As long as the bed is level and the T0 nozzle (left) is at the proper height, rotate the right-side lead screw to adjust the height of the T1 nozzle (right). This is effectively adjusting the tilt of the gantry. A full rotation of ...

Re: Dual Extruder Prime Tower Issue

Guys Something is wrong indeed. If the layers prime on top of each other they would eventually get taller than the print due both colors being on same layer and the tower height effectively doubling on that layer. From what I've seen, slicers are smart enough to schedule the extrusions so that only...

Re: Dual Extruder Prime Tower Issue

"Proper dual color prints should have both colors on every layer" So your openly admitting that cura lulzbot edition is not capable of printing this....cone.jpg because it's not a "Proper dual color print" and your answer to printing this is to just move along to another slicer? Wow!!!!! If you can...

Re: Dual Extruder Prime Tower Issue

The extruder will print to the prime tower when on the change of the toolhead. So once the Color1 is done for the layer, the Color2 will prime the nozzle (in case of ooze) by printing to the tower. Color2 will finish off the current layer, then continue printing its portion of the next layer. Color1...
