Re: New v17 release of Cura LulzBot Edition enters Beta TODAY

On Windows, if you switch Machines through the top menu bar, the options on the left disappear. You need to then resize the window manually to make them show up again

Re: Problem : Corners lifting on parts while printing

Yes, I'd definitely recommend an enclosure if the other suggestions aren't helping.

There are a few that work well for TAZ printers:

Re: HOT BOX 3DP ENCLOSURE SYSTEM (For Taz)

Finished up my build this weekend too. Not as pretty as some of the other ones, but I'm still glad to have this one!

Re: HOT BOX 3DP ENCLOSURE SYSTEM (For Taz)

I'm working on a build of the Hotbox. I've got the basic frame down, and am installing the rest of the panels and acrylic door soon. Jonathan has helped answer a few questions, but otherwise the instructions are pretty straightforward. http://i.imgur.com/WxXssbF.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/CEQgVqf.jpg?2

Re: HOT BOX 3DP ENCLOSURE SYSTEM (For Taz)

Hmm, painting it is a good idea, but I haven't considered it much yet. I ended up just cutting the panels with a handsaw, and the framing in a miter box. I think it would be cleaner if you have the equipment, but it's doable by hand.

Yup, here is a pic of the parts:

I was able to get the acyrlic panel for about 50 bucks at a local plastic shop. For anyone in the Seattle area, the place was called "Plastic Sales and Service", and they had it done in a few days no problem.

Yup, I've printed out a set of parts, acquired the acrylic sheet, and started to cut a few of the wooden pieces already!

Re: New User Calibration Cube Issues

I doubt it's a problem with the files you are printing or with the temp. settings. It looks like something is preventing the Z axis from going up the proper amount, either due to missed steps or overheating stepper drivers or something else. Does the Z-axis move properly when homing and when moving ...

Re: Kauri: Next Generation TAZ

Nice!

Have you considered making the x/y rails use hardened rails and metal bearings instead of plastic ones?

PSFU10-500 and LMU10 are the parts that a lot of users are doing manual upgrades to.
