Re: Geeetech 2in 1out hot end extruder

Its a knock off of the E3DV6 Chimera Bowden setup. Works about the same. Basically your main issue with that type of setup is attempting to print with only fillament in one of the extruders. In that scenario fillament feeds back up into the empty barrel, burns up and carbonizes. Aside from that it'...

Re: First dual extrusion print from a Cyclops hot end and BondTech QR extruders

Happy to. They aren't complete since I haven't added a part cooling fan capability yet. But here's what I have so far... TAZ_Cyclops_Mount.stl I was wondering if there was any updates to this mount over the last year? I'm just about a year late finding out about the Cyclops hotend with QR extruder ...

**BLOCK**

Almost a year later and another print project comes up. I need to install Repetier on my new computer. Low and behold an unanswered post from a year ago.

Any 2016 updates for V1.6.1? 8-)

Re: PEI bed surface

I read one posters comment about hitting the PEI with 2000 grit sandpaper so I used the 1500 grit paper I had on hand and now everything is sticking like magic.

As for the air bubbles there are less of them they are still existent.

Re: Dual Carriage Hex Hot End

A thread on this using our original tool head can be found here: https://forum.lulzbot.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=561 The address has been removed :-( http://devel.lulzbot.com/TAZ/Dual_Extruder-TAZ/Dual_Extruder-V0.75/ I'm going to ask about additional info on that thread but if you have any addition...

Re: PEI bed surface

After two months of printing the PEI tape is starting to bubble everywhere. I've tried to cut them with no luck. This is on a Taz 5. Do I just cut it off and buy new or do you think Lulzbot or Matterhackers will replace it? http://res.cloudinary.com/block-risers/image/upload/c_scale,r_6,w_189/...

Dual Carriage Hex Hot End

I was wondering if it would be possible to set up two carriages on the x-axis to print two objects at once. The parts I am printing are small enough and it would obviously double my production. Has anyone seen this done? If so can you point me in the right direction or give me some tips on how to ma...
