Auto Bed Leveling

Hello everyone, First let me apologize, I know that a lot of people have asked about bed leveling and that there is quite a bit of stuff on the forums about it. Does anyone know of a way that I could fairly easily (as easy as a mod can be I guess) add automatic bed leveling to my TAZ 5? It just take...

Re: New Heated Bed

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll get in touch with Lulz and see if they'll sell me an assembly like you suggested Piercet, as that would be easiest, but in the mean time would you mind going ahead and letting me take a look at those STLs? If I have to assemble one myself I would like to go ahead ...

New Heated Bed

Hello all, Just a simple question. I am wanting to get a new heated print bed. The one that I currently have has some grooves/indentations in it that are starting to mess some of my prints. I would like to have the same one that came with my TAZ 5. I found this link on the Lulzbot website: https://w...

Re: Fine Bottom, Lacking Top

Ok, sorry it took me so long to reply. I've had a really busy week. This is what it looks like. What is strange, is that on the raised S portion it looks to be solid, but on flat surfaces wider across, such as the base area around the S or larger objects, it does not extrude enough to be able to mak...

Re: Trying to make sure I have a good bottom layer

Ok, great. One last question. If I think I am underextruding (just for future reference) should I decrease or increase the diameter of the filament in my slicer settings? I don't have calipers to accurately measure my filament with.

Re: Trying to make sure I have a good bottom layer

I'm using and at 230. I'll move it to 235 and see what that does. On differing adhesion, will that cause warping? Or not really as long as it is sticking fairly well all over?

Trying to make sure I have a good bottom layer

Hello everyone, I'm trying to make sure that I am getting a good bottom layer so that I can avoid a lot of the headaches I was having before (noob problems I know). I had to replace my print assembly and thought that this would be a good time to do all of that. Would you guys mind taking a look at t...
