Out of scale

When I print parts they are coming out to be slightly smaller than what the design of the model is supposed to be. I made sure that the model from the cad get's exported 1:1.

What else is there to check?

Example, 13mm intended hole print's out to be about 12.65mm.

You know that makes perfect sense because it only happens when I use the PLA and the fan.

I'll try turning the thing 90 degrees and see if that changes anything.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of simply cracking the window but then what's the point of placing the printer in an isolated area with minimal air movement? I was thinking of putting it in an enclosure to print with ABS or HIPS and I would suppose it would contain the fumes once inside...until...

Nasty toxic fumes?

I have heard that some inconsistent printing causes could be do to ambient cold and hot air surrounding the printer so I placed it in one of our spare bedrooms I use for a office. My concern is that when I print with ABS or HIPS, the toxic fumes that may be building up in the room. How are people de...

Hello, Long time reader, first time posting. I have a Kitaz. I'm having overhang print issues on one side of the model only. By that I mean it is regardless of the model shape and size. Here is an example. The bad quality side is always facing the control box side of the printer. It don't matter if ...
