Re: LulzBolt Mini printing USB goes idle at different times

See the "Issues with prints Pausing after Cura and firmware updates" in the software forum. There is a new version of Cura (3.2.30) that seems to have fixed the same problem for me.

Re: Issues with prints pausing after Cura and firmware update

I was having the same issue on a Mini after installing Cura 3.2.27 and doing the firmware update that it notified me of. Gears and other random prints would would just stop mid print. Sometimes the prints would stop at the same place. Sometimes different places. I downloaded Cura 3.2.30 from the lin...

Re: ABS filament damaging bed, want alternative recommendations

I had pretty bad bubbling on my PEI sheet. I was about to replace it when I started looking into removable build plates. I ended up buying some Wear-Resistant 1095 Spring Steel 0.0120" Thick, 12-3/8" Wide, 3 Feet Long from Mcmaster/Carr (9075K185). I put the new PEI sheet on that. I added about 12 h...

Re: New Cura 2. on Taz 4?

OK, now I'm just a little angry.... I finally found a post regarding the Taz 4 and Cura2. It didn't show up in any of my searches, I just had to look through all the software posts. https://forum.lulzbot.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7081 Turns out Cura 2 does not support the Taz 4. Well LulzBot how about...

New Cura 2. on Taz 4?

It seems very un-Lulzbot like for the newer Cura (2.6.63) not to support a Taz 4 printer. Will support for Taz 4 printers be added to the new Cura? It is very uncomfortable telling the software not to check the printer version and having to face a warning that the printer could be damaged. How will ...

Infill density and patterns? (20% is stronger than 30%)

Hello All, I have noticed what I would consider a strange behavior with Cura regarding infill densities. If I use a density of 23% or less the software lays out a nice square pattern rotated 45 degrees from the X and Y axis. Each layer is printed with the material being laid down in both directions ...

That sure looks like a Lulzbot Mini!

I just saw this post over at 3D Printing Industry. It is a story about a Lowe's in Manhattan offering 3D Printing. I was disappointed that they did not give Lulzbot any love in the piece but the last bit of the video is the Mini printing a Roctopus! https://3dprintingindustry.com/news/lowes-offers-b...

Re: Newb with multiple print quality issues

I had similar problems when I first got my Mini. With PLA the nozzle would not wipe properly and then the bed leveling would not work. It would press way too hard on the corners (especially the right front). No more PLA. Then I tried HIP and it printed better but not great. Visible layer lines and s...

Re: Spool Holder for Mini

Thank Guys! Yes PHugger, there is too little friction on this one as well. I am thinking of adding some spacers so friction could be increased by tightening the knob against the spacers. Joe - If you have room beside your machne you could do one of the table top holders that the spool sits on top of...

Spool Holder for Mini

I just posted this over on Thingiverse http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1525554 This is a modification for the spool holder on a Lulzbot Mini. I started checking them out when I had a bit of a feed issue with the standard holder. Of course it turns out the feed issue was caused by the tail of the fi...
