Re: Buyer Beware

It looks like in the near future we'll be able to handle all of the Amazon returns, so they won't do refurbs at all. So that way we know we can get them refurbed correctly.

Thanks!

Re: Cura2-2.2.1-master (mac)

We should have some newer 2.4 builds real-soon-now. USB printing is still broken, but it is coming soon.

Re: New Taz 6

This is not a stock, new machine from us. If you got it from Amazon, sold as new, return it and tell them it wasn't new! You shouldn't be shipped a box like that.

Re: New Taz 6

I'd need a better picture, but there shouldn't be anything flammable there, I'm not sure what you mean. It doesn't look like a factory bed though, either. FWIW, I don't think I've ever seen a bed like that. Was the tape on there painter's tape? It kind of looks like it. What we use is a light blue, ...

ttabbal,

You're free to discuss S3D here, but I may rebuke you. ;)

Glad to see you're also concerned about software patents.

Thanks,

Re: Best Slicing Software

Please do not recommend S3D.

They have sought software patents that are going to lock this very community out of future developments. Each dollar that goes to them is a dollar AGAINST this community.

Thanks,

Re: Supporting OctoPrint

Hey,

We're supporting Octoprint at $1,024 USD/month via Patreon. We're also now supporting Thomas Sanladerer at $256/month.

Small side note: We use Botqueue in our cluster, not Octoprint. Though I'd love to have an Octoprint enabled cluster.

Yes, try bumping the temp to 230C on the ninjaflex extruder and see if that helps.

Re: Hundreds of Print Profiles on TAZ 6?

These are all the profiles for all LulzBot printers in Cura. So it includes older machines and multiple profiles for various materials (e.g. ABS has three profiles). In sum:

Code: Select all

/usr/share/cura/resources/quickprint/lulzbot_profiles$ find . -type f | wc -l
