Re: TAZ modular bed... metal plate sags.

Did you ever get a resolution to the plate sag? I just installed a modular bed and am seeing the same sag at temperature. Binder clips "work" but a real fix would be better.

Cura 21.03 z-hop not working?

So I just recently went from 21.02 to 21.03 and started having lots of pull up issues on the first layer that I didn't have before. I originally thought it was temperature or something else. I soon realized that the pull up was was located under the path of the tool head. Even after adjusting z-hop ...

Re: Extruder Calibration Frustrations

I'm also trying to calibrate my extruder (using ABS) to see if I can try to track down some issues that I think might be related to under extruding. It came preset to 833 and I find that it would only extract 66/100 mm. Using that, I cranked it up to 1262 based on the OHAI calibration page. That onl...

Mine is the same way. Just thought it was me. I thought that I just had it on a bad table.

Re: Help with Bottom Warpage

I fixed my raising up issue by lightly scrubbing my print bed with a magic eraser pad and rubbing alcohol between every print.

Re: Catastrophic failure

It wasn't really a terrible fix. More tedious and time consuming than anything. Worst part was having to replace the pei sheet, but I already had a replacement on order for the aluminum bed upgrade. The rest was a little solder and acetone and understanding what I screwed up so it doesn't happen aga...

Re: Improving small sphere quality

There is a setting in Cura for minimum layer time under the advanced settings. I think the 2nd tab. Near the check box for the cooling fan.

Re: Anti Z wobble Z nut

I've printed out the parts for this and have started piecing them together. When testing the steel pins in the bearings in the lower assembly, they moved back and forth with little effort. However, once I put the upper assembly piece on and stuck the pins through, the parts take a bit more force to ...

Re: Catastrophic failure

Alright... I'm now back to limping along. The PEI is (obviously) toast. Luckily, I had another sheet ready to go because I'm preparing to do the glass to aluminum plate conversion. As a temporary fix, I was able to acetone weld the broken parts back together and it seems rigid enough. I also took th...
