Re: TAZ 5: Click noises on Z axis

Ended up ordering cpl 16-5-5 from us.misumi. warning about first time orders from them tho...... Their shipping estimator shows cost as $0 for first time orders and only works on following orders. So I got hit with 15 dollar shipping fee on top of 26 dollar part that is hopefully going to work. Its ...

Re: TAZ 5: Click noises on Z axis

did you end up finding a way to source this part? Exact same thing happened to mine. looking at taz 5 bom shows part number GSASL 16-5-5-NAB. uk.misumi shows a GSASL 16-5-5 without the NAB part. US.misumi does not show this part number. can somebody confirm if part number CPL 16-5-5 is an exact equ...

Re: TAZ 5: Click noises on Z axis

If your machine is still under warranty, Lulzbot should replace it for you. i think i read somewhere that warrenty involves sending whole printer in. i could be mistaken. and ive only had it since 2 weeks before they went on sale for black friday.... i assumed they would have cheaper filamen...

Re: TAZ 5: Click noises on Z axis

Well, finally the problem was found. And had nothing to do with the rod nut, my fault. The click noise came from the left coupler on the Z axis, because it´s broken. did you end up finding a way to source this part? Exact same thing happened to mine. looking at taz 5 bom shows part number GSASL 16-...

Re: Adding an Openbuilds Openrail x axis to a Lulzbot Taz 4/5

hey im planning on doing these mods and getting ready to put in order for the parts. 2 questions 1. X and Y mods are complete and just needing instructions made correct? 2. it looks like Z axis is still a work in progress. should i go ahead and order parts for all three axes now or is the Z BOM subj...
