Looking for a silent control box fan

Hi, I'd like to change the loudy fan of my TAZ5 control box fan. It's always on because I replaced the rambo board with one that has no driver heatsink cooler. I know the stock one is a 80mmx15mm, 24V, 0,14A, 35 CFM, do you have suggestions for a silent one ? Something like a noctua fan or equivalen...

Re: Prusa i3 MK3, filament size

Great, where can I find 1.75mm extruder body stl files ? Is it from lulzbot or thingiverse ?

Is there any 'performance lost' to downgrade to 1.75mm ?

Prusa i3 MK3, filament size

Hi,

I'have a taz 5 and I'm considering to buy a prusa i3 MK3. But, I'd like to have the same filament size.

What should be the best option, convert my taz 5 to 1.75mm ? or convert a i3 mk3 to 3.00m ?

Thanks!

Re: TAZ 5 Z axis issue

Ultimachine support exchange the board, this is there response : Hi Daniel, I apologize for the inconvenience. We make several "custom" versions of our RAMBo board for different distributors. The version we sell through our site is our "standard" board. Last week we added a disclaimer type note on t...

Re: First Benchy: How to improve!

That's a good print!
Maybe a little bit over extruded, try to decrease the flow to 90% or 95%, give a try to find the correct value, I'll start at 95%

Re: TAZ 5 Z axis issue

Finally received my RAMBo board from ultimachine, all works fine now. Warning, the board from ultimachine has (at least) 3 differences : 1) no heatsink cooler for the Z chip driver 2) no connector for the second extruder heatsink fan : http://i.imgur.com/NfW2kr9.png 3) Lulzbot support told me to plu...

Re: TAZ 5 Z axis issue

A test to check if the motor are correct, I plugged the Z axis motors into the plug of the X axis motor, the motor works fine, so it seems it is the RAMBo board :(

I ordered one, probaly will receive it this week.

Re: TAZ 5 Z axis issue

ok, the term driver was confusing to me, I thought the driver was a software, not a hardware, thanks for the explanation !

Re: TAZ 5 Z axis issue

in fact, I don't understand this part « it tends to be a bad driver chip on the control board », sorry
