Re: Taz 5 + BLTouch [Project]

I'm actually working on a dual extruder version using Bondtech motors and the E3D Chimera+ https://forum.lulzbot.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=8570 Not sure when I'll start getting parts though so there might not be any updates for a while. There's a chance that I'll put in a Duet WiFi first but I'm not ...

Re: Taz 6 with Duet Wifi board and BL-Touch

Any chance you could do a bit of a write on the process for this? I'd love to upgrade the board but I'm not sure about mounting, wiring, or the firmware and haven't found a good resource to start figuring it out.

I put a duet wifi in my Taz 6 and it's quite nice. Talk about quieting down the printer.
What's the process like for mounting and firmware?

I wasn't referring to your link. I was referring to the OP, now deleted without any amin notes indicating that, that had 2 random spam links in an otherwise normal looking post

Re: Question from a Prusa Owner

If you need a larger print volume don't get a Taz 6, it's not nearly worth the price and the bed leveling is frankly atrocious. Hopefully the next printer is better, I know they're capable of MUCH better, but Lulzbot charges a very hefty price for what you get, just look at the crazy high pricing fo...

Re: Taz 5 + BLTouch [Project]

I've updated the extruder mount to better fit the diiicooler. This should prevent the sag I've been getting and also adds a little more clearance from the build plate. The left side has holes for heatset inserts to leave room for people to add mods if they want. Capture.PNG I haven't been able to te...

Re: Bondtech Direct Drive Dual Extruder [WIP]

Posting this on the forum encouraged me to do more work on this so I've merged the Bondtech mounts, relocated the BLTouch since the heater blocks were in the way, and rounded some edges. The left edge may need to be straightened back out for the X axis endstop

Re: Bondtech Direct Drive Dual Extruder [WIP]

Here's the mount by itself mount.PNG I'm going to make the Bondtech mounts part of the extruder mount rather leaving them separate as seen above. This extends both sides of the extruder mount 11mm for a total added width of 22mm. I need to see if this will reduce the print volume or is there's enoug...
