Re: Dual Extruder V2 Heat Block Fan Upgrade

(Forgive a maybe silly question please) How do you wire up the 2 new fans? Each fan in parallel with the existing fan for that head? or in serial? Or unplug the existing fans and use these instead? I've been using ABS with my Dual Extruder with good results, but I am ready to try some PLA, and this ...

Re: X-axis 12mm upgrade for Taz 5. No more Sag!

I'm going to put this onto my Taz5. But I don't want to remove the heat inserts from the existing plastic components, so I can keep those intact in case I need to go back to the original. And I'm a newbie with heat inserts. I've used the forum to find a link to mcmaster carr ( http://www.mcmaster.co...

Re: Q about Taz5 Dual Extruder V2 Levelling Screw

This is the O.P. Thanks to all who've replied, and especially kcchen_00 for your model. I ended up finding an M3 knurled cap and printed it at 160% to get it to fit the levelling screw. As it wasn't such a good press-fit, and it's not nice at all to try to press with any real force on an extruder in...

Q about Taz5 Dual Extruder V2 Levelling Screw

I recently installed my dual extruder v2, and I'm dialing it in and getting it to work well. I've used cura some, and Simplify3D. I have a question about the levelling screw, which is pictured well in the OHAI assembly instructions, step 21. I've added this picture here, plus some markings pointing ...

Re: Lights flickering while printer running

I'm responding to say that I also have this problem. In some sense, I'm glad to know others have the problem, it's not just me. But it is very annoying. And I wouldn't expect to have this kind of issue with a $2200+ investment! So I'll be monitoring this to hear from others. I do think Lulzbot shoul...

Re: Cura LulzBot Edition v18 Beta

I first had to use the windows version, due to problems with a missing prerequisite (python-wxgtk3.0) under my preferred Ubuntu. The pause worked great and is much appreciated. Then I found this workaround for the prereq. My issue is that Ubuntu 14.04LTS doesn't have support for python-wxgtk3.0, whi...
