Standard Hexagon toolhead available

Hey, do these things have any after market value? Moved to an Aerostruder and don't really need it anymore. It's in perfectly fine working condition.

Convert Aerostruder to 1.75, how?

As stated, there seem to be many more interesting filaments coming out in the 1.75 size, and I want to play with them. I'm not sure if the 3.0 version of the aerostruder will play nice with the 1.75 filaments, so wondering if there is a way to convert it to be native 1.75. Thanks for any info you ca...

Re: Cura 3.6.18 update profile from current settings CRASH

Sorry to hear of the difficulty you are having with Cura. It sounds like you may need to clear your cache in Cura. You can do this by selecting your operating system and then following the upgrading section of this guide: https://www.lulzbot.com/cura... Thanks Noah. I did this on the initial upgrad...

Cura 3.6.18 update profile from current settings CRASH

Reproducible and annoying as hell. I moved from Simplify3D. Not only do I not understand how to get a profile to work with a newly added material (I guess thats my problem) but if I duplicate a material, change settings and try to apply those changes in the profile manager, as soon as I press the bu...

Re: How to replace aerostruder Thermister

Thanks for those suggestions. Good ones indeed. As it turns out, a bit more hunting on the e3D site gave me the instructions. Turns out it s simple set screw on the bottom of the block. Trick is, of course the head of the screw is going to be filled with plastic, so I'm going to have to heat the hea...

How to replace aerostruder Thermister

Hi folks, had a major meltdown (not me, the printer) and after pulling all the melted badness away from the head, the insulation around the thermister wires is melted away. It works, but I don't want to take chances. Can't find a clear instruction on replacing it. I have the replacement part, but I ...

Poor HIPS printing

Hi folks, well, I'm trying my hand at HIPS and I'm having a heck of a time. I finally got it to stick to the bed (after 10 attempts) but for the life of me, I can't get a decent first layer... I am using a Taz5 with an Aerostruder head. Cura (latest version) and Gizmodorks Black HIPS. I've messed wi...

Cura 3.2.23 windows quits unexpectedly

I recently installed the latest stable Cura from Lulzbot, and after following the directions on removing old files, it works fine. Slow to load, but I think that typical. However, the app will simply crash? quit? go away? randomly. It can be after 10 minutes, it can be 4 hours. But ultimately it dis...
