Re: Cura LulzBot Edition v19 Beta

Thanks for the great feedback. Bed PID was inadvertantly not turned back on during the process of upgrading firmware to a newer upstream base. That is already fixed in the next release of Firmware for the Mini (codename Gladiola) which is under active development right now. On the case/electronics ...

Re: Fans don't spin @ 24% Taz 6

This seems to be some physical manifestation (e.g. greater static friction in your fans vs others). Take a look at this line: https://code.alephobjects.com/diffusion/MARLIN/browse/oliveoil-moar/Marlin/planner.cpp;9b06e0454fd257a647292cef50d0d57b4ab657dd$549 This condition says if the duty cycle give...

Re: Taz 6...SHOCKING!

I redrew the bottom PCB of the GLCD controller in KiCad a few months ago. I added a zener IC (UCLAMP0504A.TCT) to protect against ESD events on Vcc, LCDE(SCLK), LCDRW(SID), and LCDRS(CS) lines of the display. Also, the through holes which are used for mounting the encoder have thermal reliefs to the...

Re: Daydreaming??

I am assuming you sent the machine an M600 . After pressing the encoder to escape the wait the dwell message "Daydreaming..." is sent to the LCD.Since Cura G-Code sends absolute values for the extruder rather than relative sending M600 may make the extruder go back to 0.0mm and after escaping the wa...

Re: BETA: Cura LulzBot Edition v20 and Marlin v1.1.x for Mini

Then endstops.h file seems to be missing from the Marlin directory. It won't compile. Sorry about that, the endstops.cpp file should have been removed during an earlier revert. Arduino was trying to include it in the build process even though it wasn't needed. You should be good to build with the l...

Re: LulzBot TAZ 3D Printers Get Another Multi-Material Tool Head Upgrade

Oooh, interesting. what kind of connection block are you using on that one? it kind of looks like an 8 pin Molex PSU connector block, but that wouldn't have enough pins for everything. It has two 16 position connector housings, specifically we're using Molex 22552161. You can find our Bill of Mater...
