Re: Anyone figured out a Simplify3D profile for the Dual Fle

Just got the official dual extruder in and installed, I'll use slic3r if I have to but I'm hoping to continue using S3D. According to one of the techs at AO I need to insert a code into the header though he couldn't quote it to me. Please post what you find out here, since I am having the exact sam...

Re: X-Carriage FreeCAD or STEP file needed

Piercet - thanks for the help and posting this, but it still doesn't work for me. I can modify the file now in my CAD software, but then it doesn't allow me to output the modified back to a STL file to print. Evidently, I still need the original step or any other original CAD file that I can bring i...

Any luck in finding the file? I need to make a small change and print it out this weekend if possible....

Thanks! Ross

X-Carriage FreeCAD or STEP file needed

I would like to modify the TAZ 4 X-Carriage and would need either a FreeCAD model or a STEP file of the latest X-Carriage found here:

http://download.lulzbot.com/TAZ/4.0/pro ... _carriage/

Can someone please post a FreeCAD or STEP file for me?

Thanks, Ross

Re: PEI bed surface

40 mil PEI sheet works well, and can be cut easily with a large shears. You can order from ZORO Tools for a 12" x 24" and sometimes can find a discount coupons

Re: Taz 4 Bolt on X axis tensioner retrofit kit

Thanks for posting this. I do find that it is a little awkward on the stock parts to have to pull on the belt and try to tighten it down to get the tension just right. This little tensioner will definitely make it easier. Great job! :D

Re: Taz 3.1->4.0 Stiffened X Ends

WOW! Very nice! I just did the conversion from 3.1 to 4.0 with the stock TAZ ABS printed parts and I can see that there is some flex in the thin section. This will help a lot! I think that I will print them off today and "upgrade" my upgrade to 4.0. Is there any issues with interference with other p...

Re: Taz 4 Dual Extruder?

Can anybody link to 42mm stepper motors that will work with the dual extruder? The 42mm ones from Kysan are back ordered for 4-5 weeks. http://store.kysanelectronics.com/servlet/-strse-71161/42BYGH001-dsh-D/Detail I've purchased and am using these from Ebay. They seem to be working just fine!! http...

Re: Taz 2 evolved to 4

I just printed off a pair of these parts, BUT I would think about purchasing a pair for $50 if the cost got down to it....especially if they were anodized a nice black color :D
