Re: Cura and dual extruder v2

... for others trying this, note that with dual extruders placed 50mm in front of each other like mine, the front extruder can not physically reach the far back of the build plate area (back 25% or so). This is the dark area seen in recent Cura LE releases, when importing and setting up a dual print...

Re: Auto bed leveling only when powering up

... so for FW 1.1.9 I am thinking that instead of

M420 S0
G29
M420 S1

instead it would just be:

G29 O

as there would be no "compensation stack up with bed leveling" mentioned in the release notes https://code.alephobjects.com/w/cura-lulzbot/ due to the "O" parameter?

Re: Auto bed leveling only when powering up

According to this:

http://marlinfw.org/docs/gcode/G029-abl.html

Skipping bed leveling after the first one following a power up, can be achieved by simply adding an "O" for optional to the G29 command in the startup script:

G29 O

Anybody know or tried this?

Re: g-code to restore previous fan speed

Tried M106 T1 Unfortunately did not work - it always seem to restore the print fan speed to 255. S3D example snippet, where the slicer at tool change changes temperature on the extruders and fan, and run the tool change script: [snip ...] ; layer 17, Z = 1.600 M104 S265 T0 M104 S160 T1 M106 S76 G1 X...

Re: Cura 3.2.27 with dual extruders

Re: Cura and dual extruder v2

Have been running a bit with solution 2, and it works well. The exception has been if printing where the first layer is quished so much that material sticks up and affects the unused extruder enough for it to cause the used extruder to now print an uneven layer, which again will cause problems later...

Re: Cura 3.2.27 with dual extruders

By supported/tested I mean support for the sold tool heads is maintained - as in regularly testet and updated with the whole package, to keep it working well for customers? TAZ 6 with Flexydually V2 tool head (FDv2) was originally bought for expected reliability, tool heads and profiles, for electro...

Auto bed leveling only when powering up

I have seen somewhere someone put auto bed leveling in a macro, but did not quite get it. Is it possible to somehow during the start script, detect if this is the first time the script is run since power up, and then let an IF statement control auto bed leveling, so it is only done once after being ...

Re: Cura and dual extruder v2

We have the Flexydually V2 (FDv2) tool head so the following only applies to that type, where the extruders are in front of each other and not side by side. Solution 1, the first thing I did with our Flexydually V2 tool head was to set it up a second time as a new machine adding "back only" to the n...
