Re: New firmware (Klipper) on TAZ 6

In general, I think this is a good idea. Any thought to the topic organization? I was actually just thinking about a generic "How to convert your Lulzbot to a Klipper machine"-like topic, where people trying to figure out the ins and outs of converting Lulzbot Marlin to Klipper conf get some help f...

Re: New firmware (Klipper) on TAZ 6

I spent the weekend creating a working Mini 1 printer configuration but want to do some more tests before I make a PR. Should we move to a more generic Klipper topic to see if we can migrate more Lulzbot printers? I only own a mini, but we could share experiences (e.g. mining Marlin pin defines)to o...

Re: New firmware (Klipper) on TAZ 6

Just had a nice conversation on Klipper Discord about Lulzbot Mini washer probing. It should be possible using this config:

Code: Select all

position_endstop: 150

[bed_tilt]
points:
    0, 0
    0, 150
    150, 150
    150, 0
And calibrate using BED_TILT_CALIBRATE

Re: Honeycomb infill pattern?

Although not an answer to your question I can highly recommend Slic3r as an alternative to Cura with many great infills an a lot of (maybe too many?) features.

Re: New Marlin 2.0 G29 behaviour

The retract before probing bug has been fixed, as well as the FW_RETRACT micro pauses.

Re: New Marlin 2.0 G29 behaviour

Also, my mini now suffers from this issue: https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin/issues/12723
It's not bad enough to downgrade. Just a heads-up for those contemplating the upgrade.

Raised an issue for the encountered behaviour: https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin/issues/14355

New Marlin 2.0 G29 behaviour

I just upgraded my Mini (1) to Marlin 2.0.0 using the Lulzbut Marlin git repo devel branch, which compiles nearly perfect (couple of warnings) and flashes well. There was one awkward change in G29 behaviour though: My preprint custom g-gcode amongst other things puts everything in absolute mode (G90...

Re: Using "flexible" filaments in Lulzbot Mini

I can't help you with the shore questions, but this might help printing (semi) flexible filament on the Lulzbot toolheads.

Re: TAZ 6 X belt rubs carriage

I don't know the TAZ, but it sounds like the same problem on the mini?
