Re: printing while the mac sierra goes to sleep

Typically with every version of Cura on both Mac and PC, the print will be interrupted when the computer goes into sleep mode. In this case, you may have had the screensaver come on before the computer actually went to sleep, which made it look like the printer was still working when the computer we...

Re: Latest Version CURA 3.2.27 Polycarbonate Material Missing

Hey Sergiu,

It looks like Polycarbonate is still in that version of Cura, it will just be labeled as PC by Village Plastics. We just shortened the name to save a bit of space. 8-)

Re: wipe nozzle failed, Printer paused, help needed.

Did you watch and see which washer the tool head would get to before going back to the wiper pad to rewipe? Depending on which washer it gets to can mean different causes to your issue here.

Re: Problem Getting Z Offset

Could you clarify a bit more with what it means that your Mini stops responding? Does it give an error code, or does it just stall and do nothing? You may want to try and cycle the the connection to the Mini to make sure that the printer is fully connected before you try and send the command.

Re: Taulman Alloy 910 layer adhesion

A lot of times with Nylon materials, these issues can be caused by the filament absorbing too much moisture while it is being stored. A good way to tell if it has taken on some liquid is to listen to it while it prints. If there are pops and snaps like a bowl of Rice Krispies, it means that there is...

Re: X-Level

I'm not sure if you are referring to leveling the x-axis on the Mini 2, or if you are using another printer, but on the Mini 2, the level x-axis option should not hit the back right washer. It will get a bit close, but it should not make contact.

Re: Cura 3.2.23 with flexydually v2

In Cura, you will get a warning if you make the settings higher than the nozzle's diameter, but Cura is able to adjust the feed rates to allow for .5mm flow through the .6mm nozzle, so no error is present there. As for the PVA profile, you may be able to transfer those profile settings over and use ...

Re: Cura 3.2.23 with flexydually v2

The .5mm settings are intentional in Cura, even though the nozzles on the Flexydually are both .6mm. The exclusion of PVA for the v2 Dual and the Flexydually was intentional, however we are working on bringing it back for the Dual v2, but it is just needing a bit more testing. If you are using Cura ...

Re: Cura 3.2.23 with flexydually v2

When making changes in the custom settings, Cura is essentially saving them as changes to the recommended profile, as you are making changes to the standard profile. So when you go back and forth between the recommended and custom, all those changes will remain, so there is no need for Cura to resli...
