When you say "replace the nut", which nut are you referring to?

Re: Taz 6 Going To Crap!!

Previously changed the fuses and changed the LCD screen...no luck.

Previously changed the power settings on my laptop to never sleep...no luck.

Believe me, I have tried a great many things.

Taz 6 Going To Crap!!

I have a Taz 6 that is over a year and a half old. Recently, I have been noticing more and more issues with it. 1. For about 6 months now, I cannot print from SD Card, as something inside the Controller Box has blown. I can only print with a laptop connected. 2. Every print in the past week has stop...

Re: Taz 6 - SD Card Problem

Well, I bought a brand new SD Card and a new LCD Graphics Screen. Installed the new screen and new card and same thing...the printer screen states that a card has been inserted, then when I scroll through to the main screen, the screen says "No SD Card". By process of elimination, it must be the cab...

Taz 6 - SD Card Problem

I have been using SD Cards on my Taz 6 for the past year with no issues. I recently changed to the dual extruder head, used it a few times, then changed back to the stock single extruder. Now, when I insert the SD Card the LCD screen indicates that SD Card has been inserted, but when I go to into th...

When I get the nozzles manually adjusted to the proper height above the plate, do I need to switch my Z-offset number to 0, then save settings? I have been researching this topic for the past 2 days now, and I have yet to see a simp...

Re: Taz 6 Dual Extruder Problems

I keep seeing people talk about "setting Z offset", but I cannot seem to find detailed step by step instructions as to how exactly to set them. Also, I recently tried to set up the dual extruder head again, but now I am running into "Probe Fail Clean Now" error message. The nozzles do not line up wi...

Re: Electrical Short

The guys from Lulzbot requested that I switch the F2 fuse to the F3 fuse slot and vice versa. Turned the printer on and the LCD screen comes on! Now I know it was just the fuses, so I will replace them both and be back up in no time! Thank you to Lulzbot Support Team! I promise you all, I have learn...

Re: Electrical Short

Also, if it was only the thermistor and/or heater block, why would it cause the screen to go dark?

Re: Electrical Short

Yes. I have absolutely filed that one away as "live and learn". Can I ask how one would test to see what was damaged?

Thank you.
