Simplify 3d skips cool off period at end of print.

Has anyone experienced this?

At the end of the print using Simplify 3D the print bed moves back and then immediately all the way forward. The bed temp is still at 80 degrees.

I am using the TAZ 6.

Re: NGen Removal From TAZ6

I print with NGEN all of the time and I use AVERY brand glue stick on the print bed. I wait until the bed cools almost all the way down and the parts come off with very little struggle. I agree I really love NGEN too, prints like a dream even very fine detail objects.

LulzBot TAZ Dual Extruder v3 Tool Head dual color

Has anyone had any experience/success printing dual color on their LulzBot TAZ Dual Extruder v3 Tool Head?

I am thinking of buying one but just using it for soluble supports doesn't seem to justify getting it.

Thanks!

Re: Enclosure design sanity check...

I really like your design! Here are some things to consider: 1. The larger the enclosure the longer it takes to heat up, there is quite a bit of space above the printer in your design, that is where the heat will go. (If your thinking of printing with abs) 2. Having the electronics inside the enclos...

Cura lulzbot edition 21.08 Horizontal expansion

Hello all! I am trying to print some threaded gears from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2064269 I am printing it in ABS and the gears do not fit on the threaded rods. A user commented that they used the "Horizontal expansion" in Cura to fix it. I cannot find it anywhere in the lulzbot edition. Do...

Re: TAZ 6 Enclosure

Thanks for sharing. It's a pretty nice enclosure! Have you measured the internal temp to see how hot it gets? Is there any improvement to abs warping? My internal temps are 40 to 45C, I have never tried to print ABS without it but I have not had any ABS warping issues with the enclosure . I tend t...

Re: Printer stops midprint

I suppose you could have a partial blockage, I would do a few cold pulls and see if there is anything in there.

Re: Printer stops midprint

Does it always stop at the exact same time/point? if you haven't done so take a look at the model in layer view, and scroll through the layers and see if it disappears at some point.

I hope this helps.
