Re: Enclosure?

an enclosure will not really help with sounds or smells since they all have gaps, and nearly everyone I've seen for the mini has an open floor. But yes, they are more for dealing with some materials. ABS and Polycarbonate being some of the more common ones that really need a warm environment to prin...

Re: Mini 1 to 2 Conversion

sorry for the lack of updates on this. was waiting on a few parts to arrive and got tied up with other things. Will hope to get back on this soon. Taken some time for me to clean out holes for the bushings as Lulzbots models are designed with their finishing procedures in mind, and I dont have the t...

Re: Lulzbot Mini requires huge maintenance

I know mine is a 1.3 and I htink that...

Re: Lulzbot Mini requires huge maintenance

Odd,I’ve had mine for 1.5 years and haven’t had any of the issues you mentioned. Other then replacing the PEI sheet a couple times. Like you I really only do ABS, some nylon and Polycarbonate. And mine also sits on the floor of my place and also has to deal with dander from 2 cats. I do my a TabSynt...

Re: Lulzbot Mini 1 Extruder Jammed

Yeah, that’s a fire hazard. I had a similar issue a while back trying to print 1.75mm PC on my 3mm Mini. I wound up having to do the job on my other machine that couldn’t reach the same temps at a much slower speed

Re: Lulzbot Mini 1 Extruder Jammed

Few questions. Had you tried to heat up the hotend and manually push material through? Is the little fan over the heartbreak still working? If yes to both you may need to go deeper on this. Undo the cover and unplug the extruder. There are 3 Allen screws that hold the extruder on the backside of the...

Re: Mini 1 to 2 Conversion

Ok, so turns out I don’t ha e all the parts. I was mistaken in thinking that I could reuse more of the old parts then I really was able to. Am waiting for a few bearings and other hardware to arrive. I also needed to make a few custom chain ends for the chain I already have which is a little smaller...
