Weird Taz 6 z-probing behavior in 1.1.9+

Just curious if anyone is having this issue with firmware 1.1.9+. After updating to 1.1.91.13 (coming from 1.1.8.62) I've noticed that z prob after nozzle wipe will always fail if auto level had been successful prior to having this problem. If I just turn on the printer and start a print, auto level...

Re: Taz 6 (Twoolhead) firmware binary via OctoPrint Firmware Updater

Thanks for the reply. nice to know where the newer .hex files are. :D I've been running ino tons of issue trying to get coloradoprintingproject's Taz 6 firmware to compile with Arudino 1.8.5, and as far as I can tell it is also based on a pretty old version of the firmware. So I took Marlin_TAZ6_Dua...

Taz 6 (Twoolhead) firmware binary via OctoPrint Firmware Updater

Hello, I'm experimenting uploading/updating my Taz 6 firmware via OctoPrint Firmware Updater plugin because I primary print via OctoPrint and the USB port on my Taz 6 isn't easily accessible due to it being in an enclosure. Having to upload firmware via Cura/laptop is pretty troublesome when I'm con...

Re: How to I replicate my Taz 5/6's part cooling fan PWM speed range to my 24v Ramps?

Oh wow I do remember reading about FAN_KICKSTART_TIME in one of my Google search but didn't think to look into Configuration_adv.h after not seeing it in Configuration.h. I just enabled those and set my MIN_PWM_SPEED a bit lower at 50 and my fans are now working perfectly with KICKSTART_TIME. Thank ...

How to I replicate my Taz 5/6's part cooling fan PWM speed range to my 24v Ramps?

Hello, This isn't exactly Taz firmware discussion but I've been advised to post this question here by Lulzbot's team on Reddit . Long story short, I'm building a test rig/printer to experiment with various components. It's running Ramps 1.4, 24v, Marlin 1.1.8, so controller board wise it is very sim...

Re: 12v 40mm cooling fan replacing the original 24v

The 12v diodes I was using were 5w, I shut it off when it got to around 80C as I got a little concerned, didn't test for max temperature. I just ran a test with 2x 3w 6v diodes (same as linked in the other thread) and ran an extended test. under 60% fan load they stabilized around 60-75 degrees C en...

12v 40mm cooling fan replacing the original 24v

Hello, I'm just curious how are other Taz 5/6 owners powering their aftermarket 12v 40mm part cooling fan in place of the original 24v. As multiple posts suggests, most non-original 24v fans have issue with RAMBo's PWM at low RPM, some have suggested using 12v fan instead as there are many more choi...

Taz 6 elevated hexagon fan duct

Just got myself a Taz 6 and am loving it. However compare to the Taz 5 that I used to operate at work the 40mm hexagon fan is totally in the way of my view of the nozzle, so I drew an elevated fan duct.
