Re: CURA Stopped Working

Un-install the program via your OS, and then you will need to delete your cache folders. After selecting your operating system, there will be a dropdown giving directions on clearing your cache: https://www.lulzbot.com/cura When clearing the cache, please double check for any 2.6 folders as well and...

Re: TAZ 3 with TAZ 5 Extruder

I am still getting funky blobing however. Ahh, with a new tool head be sure to run an extruder calibration and set your Esteps. If this is set too high, it will lead to over extrusion. Guide on that aspect can be found here: https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/fine-tune-mini-extruder/calibration/ Note...

Re: Lulzbot Mini 2 TPU Filament

One thing to note from that guide linked above:
In general, the more rigid the 1.75mm filament is, the better luck you will have printing it
From our experience, 1.75 TPU will be a little tough to run without modification. Good luck!

Re: How to add X-Level to Gcode Header?

Any thoughts on why this happened? When you see inconsistencies when running the same gcode file, it will come down to the probe itself being slightly different. Either the nozzle was not completely clean, or some filament may have slightly dripped out when traveling causing interference in the pro...

Re: TAZ 3 with TAZ 5 Extruder

Chances are what you are seeing, is due to gravity in the center of the X axis travel path. Your tool head is dipping down, opposed to your glass bowing up. This was mitigated in the past with a large initial layer height of 0.425mm. This will allow good adhesion across the surface of the bed while ...

Re: .25mm nozzle PLA profile?

We have found that a Z offset adjustment will likely be required. We have our first layer set to 0.2mm in the profiles, which is just about half of what we have on the 0.5mm nozzle. This will mean a tighter first tolerance for that layer. Is there a procedure for re-identifying the correct z-height ...
