Re: crashing the print head into the taller of two models

Hello,

You're easiest solution to avoid those issues is to select "Print all at Once" from the settings. If you need help finding the settings let me know.

Re: Mini 1 Z axis minimum endstop triggered

Hello, We usually see this issue when the hot end is touched with something metallic. Either a user will clean the nozzle with a wire brush or touch the nozzle with tweezers when removing filament. This will send a short via the zero-sense wire back to the RAMBo. The best way that we know of to miti...

Re: Converting a TAZ 5 single extruder for mini

I really wouldn't recommend using a TAZ 5 tool head on a Mini. The reason is that the tool head is a different dimension and the firmware won't differentiate the difference. Your printer will think that you have a Mini tool head and this can cause some potential physical damage to your printer. That...

Re: Z-offset question?

"With a decent set of feeler gauges, you can measure this gap as you lower the nozzle (the largest feeler gauge in the set may only be 0.9 to 0.8mm). If you don't have feeler gauges, a piece of 20lb paper is about .1mm, a business card about .3mm. Once you can measure the gap, you can compare the Z ...

Hey TD, Yeah, it looks like you damaged the thermistor. Luckily they are inexpensive and easy to replace. You can find a new thermistor for your tool head here: https://www.lulzbot.com/store/parts/100k-semitec-gt-2-thermistor You can use these installation instructions as a guide here: https://ohai....

Re: Mini 1 print issue warping/bad printing right rear

There are a couple of things that stand out in your post that I think you can fix rather easily in order to improve the quality of your prints. First, let's look at the enclosure. An enclosure is great for filaments, such as ABS, that suffer from contraction issues, warping on the bed, and layer sep...

Just an update. Our user was able to change his display from 125% to 100% and this fixed his problem.

Re: Warping ABS

Hello kdelaney, When we see warping with ABS it's usually indicative of the filament itself. ABS is notorious for warping because the upper portions of your print cool faster than the lower portions. The contraction that this causes pulls up the lower layers and, well, you see the results. There are...

Re: Looking for Socks

Hello InfiniteGinger, You can find the socks for your V3 Dual Extruder here: https://e3d-online.com/v6-silicone-socks-pack-of-3 You can give them a try, but we don't recommend using them. On printers with automatic bed leveling the wiping procedure tends to knock the sock loose. If you would like, w...

Re: Moarstruder & sock

Hello hounddog, LulzBot sells the MOARstruder hot end kit as the Longblock. But the actual components are Moarstruder components with a V6 Volcano nozzle. E3D is the manufacturer and they have a section for the Moarstruder here: https://e3d-online.com/lulzbot-moarstruder-spares-parts We don't recomm...
