Re: Tazberry Pi Power

You can do this with some additional hardware, a DC-DC buck converter. Use the output of the main power supply (12 or 24V) and adjust for 5V output. Here's one on Amazon with 5A capacity, https://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Converter-1-25-36v-Efficiency-Regulator/dp/B079N9BFZC . Note: I have a Raspber...

Re: Help - Cant Print Taz 5 After Cura 3.6.13

It should be possible to install the original version of Cura and to flash the firmware with the original version. The only trick is remembering the version numbers of both. I'm going to take a wild guess that the e-steps aren't set correctly in the new firmware. Searching for e-step calibration in ...

Re: pause printer in S3d

M600 has parameters but it also has defaults. I'm not sure but the X and Y coordinates may be absolute or relative depending on the setting of G90, G91. From the documentation , it appears that Z is always relative. The load and unload length appear to also be relative but I'd not specify them and g...

Re: Nozzle is missing wiper pad and hitting mount

I'd check the X min stop to see if it is loose or has moved. The wiper pad start G-Code moves between X=-15, X=-17, Y=100, and Y=23. First check where zero is by using the LCD "Movement, Auto home" or sending a G28 to the printer (you can do this without heating the nozzle). The LCD should display X...

Re: pause printer in S3d

Recent versions of Marlin for the LulzBot printers support both M0 and M600.

I think using M600 is the way to go.

Re: Mini 1 + OctoPrint + Aerostruder

To update the firmware on my TAZ 6 with OctoPrint, I use the OctoPrint-FirmwareUpdater plugin. Browse for the firmware file(s) at C:\Program Files (x86)\cura-lulzbot 3.6\resources\firmware. This avoids having to move the printer from the RPi USB port to a USB port on my desktop with CuraLE installed...

Re: Possible G-Code?

I'd be careful with using Z0.0 because if anything is a bit "out of whack" you run the danger of putting a dimple in the bed.

Re: Possible G-Code?

You can try checking the option "Origin at center" under Machine Settings Don't do that. The G-Code you want to insert is: G0 X80 Y80 ; Move to center of the bed (Z should be at 10) G0 Z0.5 F200; Move Z down (slowly) close to the bed (adjust Z lower if you dare) This assumes that the G-Code you pos...

Re: Firmware Config file location?

It isn't necessary. It is just documentation that I find useful so I keep it near the .hex file.
