Re: Polymaker PC Plus profile

We have a PC-Max profile for the standard Aerostruder that you could use as reference. Based on your listed settings there are a few things that were different than our PC Max profile for the SE Aerostruder when I compared them. In our profile the build plate temperature is set to 90C rather than 11...

Re: cura lulzbot edition 3.6.8

Unfortunately right at this moment we don't have a guide specifically for navigating the most recent version of Cura, but we do have some other documentation that should help you get acclimated to the new layout which I have included below. This first thing I would check out is our TAZ Pro quick sta...

Re: Newbie needs help

In fact, find the tests the help you calibrate your e-steps. If you send 100mm of filament through your nozzle you should measure 100mm going through the nozzle and not more or less. Here is a link to the Extruder Calibration Guide that JoeBowler was referencing: https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/fi...

Re: Reduce hot end temperature - how?

Setting up a custom profile in Cura LE can seem a bit tricky at first but it is surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it. Here are some step by steps directions to help you through the process. 1. Load Cura make sure that in the 'Material' drop down menu on right side of screen you have your pr...

Re: Printer disconnecting mid print

If you have the option to print from an SD card I would give that a try, if the print stops while running from a SD card as well it will eliminate this being a communication issue of some kind. Also, could you let us know what version of Cura you are currently working with? As well as the printer ty...

Re: E-steps and Z Offset Differences Between Different Filaments and Nozzles

When you switch to a smaller nozzle diameter it will almost always necessitate adjusting your Z-Offset to be a bit closer to the build platform. Just as you posited this is because the thinner strand of filament will require the nozzle be a bit closer to the build platform to achieve the same amount...

Re: cura wont start up

Have you tried a fresh install of the Cura yet? If not I would start there to see if this is just a pathway issue and reinstalling the software will correct things. For this you would want to first uninstall the software then clear your cache before reinstalling, we have instructions for all of thes...

Re: Help with Print Quality

Since you mentioned seeing the filament extruding thinner than normal the first thing I would suggest trying is some cold pulls, this should help remove any filament residue from the inside of your toolhead and ensure that the filament is able to flow through the toolhead as intended. Here are a cou...

Re: Best Practice for Swapping In & Out Tool Heads

You will need to flash your firmware when switching back to the stock toolhead, the reason for this is that the firmware on your printer tells it which toolhead is currently installed and allow the printer to account for the slight variances from toolhead to toolhead. We have a guide that goes over ...

Re: Saving/restoring profiles in CURA 3.2.27

To access your saveds profile first, select whatever Material profile you selected when you created your new profile. Once you have selected the Material that was used to create the profile, your saved profile should be listed along with the high detail, standard, and high speed profiles in the Prof...
