I'm seeing the same thing on my Mini 2. When I turn the printer on, the x axis is visibly out of level. I always need to level the x axis. Does this happen with any other filament? While 1.75 does work in a pinch, it's not going to be as reliable as 3 mm. Send a picture of what your filament looks like when you remove it from the extruder after something like this. Is it ground out? Is it kinked? LulzBot.com/Support

The TAZ 4 used the Budaschnozzle hot end with the nozzle diameter engraved on the side of the hot end nozzle (just visible under the heater block):

That's correct! We're using 2 5:1 geared stepper motors on the Z-axis.

With the printer off and unplugged, disconnect your new X/Y/Z leads from the board. Plug in your extruder/tool head and power the printer back on. If the GLCD remains lit, power down the printer again, and plug in the X-axis. Power on your printer and see if the GLCD remains powered. Repeat for the ...
