Re: Polydissolve S1 - Total Bust

So I'll throw in my 2 cents. Note that I recently threw up my hands in frustration and gave up for now despite spending tons of time, emails, forum posts on here and s3d, and writing a ton of custom gcode. But I had a few successful prints using the poly dissolve. Here's what I found, things I obser...

Re: Z-axis offset woes

Prenote on the youtube video, I don't think that is the reason at all. A proper bed leveling levels relative to the bed and it can be quite a bit off and still have perfect layers if it's done correctly. Also, just email lulzbot support and ask this question - they get back fast and are helpful. The...

Re: OctoPrint disconnects after printer asks to re-Wipe

Thought I'd follow up on this with my progress and with an email back from lulzbot. I'm still working on it, but this is where I'm at: 1. Tuning the autoleveling to hopefully not need rewipes (and also get a nicer level) - cleaning and fixing some connections through email directions that may help 2...

Re: OctoPrint disconnects after printer asks to re-Wipe

Thank you! I was meaning to post this myself yesterday and wasn't sure if I was going to get unlazy and post tonight, but I have exactly this problem! I'm running the Taz 6 v3 head and I'm always getting this from every test I tried. EXTREMELY frustrating! I DID have 2 related workarounds that I'd b...

Actually jump to this thread, think I'm wrong and others have this issue too.

Re: Dual Extruder V3 used as single extruder

In S3d I just set one print to 0C temp and I offload the auto leveling to a single starting script so it only heats and cools once. In cura, I think you could set up a new material and then set that temp to 0 so it doesn't heat up. Though I remember I found another way to do it so it never heated up...

Re: Homing G28 Z0 not working: why are all axes are homing???

While it doesn't seem like you're new, I always jump back to https://www.simplify3d.com/support/articles/3d-printing-gcode-tutorial/ for commands. I've got the Taz 6, but my working code omits the Z axis because it messes up the bed leveling. However, I used to use a separate G28 Z at some point I r...

Re: Raspberry Pi Camera/Print Monitor Setup?

There's a module for Octoprint Anywhere with an interface that lets you see your webcam online. I think you can also disable the remote cancel printing feature (that's really important). My friend was also able to read the simple parts and info and set up to just stream the cam details - I know plen...

Re: Cura 3.2.21 and Dual Extruder V3 Stalling

Even though this is an old thread I thought I'd jump in and say a few things. First, definitely get a pi setup to do dedicated printing, its easy and works quite well. Second, it's very likely a USB issue, not a processor one. I've had this happen on a number of computers and different printers. Som...
