Re: eSUN (PLA+)

I think a lot of folks are using eSUN PLA+ due to it's low cost. I've been using the Verbatim (PLA) settings, and generally works OK.

Is there anyone that has a "Fully Tuned" material profile they can share? Would be helpful if we can get one attached to the thread.

Re: Mid Print Filament Change with Taz6

I did a multicolor print with the Taz6 single extruder over the weekend, and used the pause at height script feature 2x in the same print. Worked for me. Maybe update the latest FW to the printer?

Re: Profile Dir Location Cura Linux

Not the original poster (and I'm on Windows), but I'll take a stab since it rings a bell. I want to tweak settings from one of the standard material profiles to use with another unsupported vendor material. Profile settings let me copy and edit, but I can't figure out how to end up with a profile se...

Re: V3 dual purge sequence on E2 not purging material

Repro is pretty simple, just note the timing of e1/e2 during the Purge cycle. E2 is noticably shorter. Did someone file a bug on this yet? I think aleph had a customer ticket system.

Re: Dual Extruder V3 - why angle the filament channel?

In my case for the idler to hobbed gear tension, yes, I can see/feel where it bites the material when retracted. It's a couple of turns tighter than spec (spacer with no filament loaded). Could try clamping down all the way. Was thinking of replacing the idler bearing with a rubber bushing to see if...

Re: Dual Extruder V3 - why angle the filament channel?

I've noticed this problem with the feed angle and hobbed gear chewing the material and stopping the feed. I have had to tear down my dual extruder v3 a couple of times to recover. Once a small chunk (3mm x 3mm) of material got stuck in between the feeder and heating block when pulling material for s...
