What version of cura do you have to have for a Taz 6. Does it use 3 mm filiment? I am planning on buying one thanks Phillip

Having trouble finishing some prints.

When I print a object that comes to a sharp point it melts the point. The rest of the print is fine. Print example is the point of a rocket. Thanks Phil.

If I update to 3.2.23 would I have to update the firmware on my printer again or just roll with the old firmware Thanks.

Yes I had been printing with Esun Petg. With color fab xt profile tweaking nozzle temp. to 240 and bed at 80 but the new update would extrude to much material and it would stick to nozzle before first layer. I found the taulmen tglase profile got close I changed print temp and bed back to 240 and 80...

Well I just downloaded the 3.2.21 edition a few weeks a go and I see that a new update is available. I had a few problems getting my prints back to normal. I do love the ironing feature. My question is it worth going through the trouble of downloading the latest update and having to tune my printer ...

My printer is a Taz 6 purchased last year I have made some great prints including a 40 hour Dragon knocker print. I hope Someone has some ideas on removing the scratches. Thanks Phil.

Scratches on Final layer.

When I print a flat object I always have a few scratches on the finished part like the nozzle has dragged. The part looks good except for that. I have adjusted temp. and zhop but part always has a few the print would be great if I could get rid of them. Thanks Phil.
