Re: Large Shifts on my prints

When you push the carriages check and make sure it's smooth over the range of the axis. If there is too much drag it can skip. Also, you can turn down the acceleration through the LCD and that can sometimes make a print finish that skipped before with the same gcode.

Re: Error: MINTEMP triggered, system stopped! Heater_ID: 0

One thing you can do to check if the board is damaged is switch the thermistors for the heated bed and the hotend where they plug into the board. The thermistors for these components are similar enough that you will get a reading unless the board is damaged. DO NOT attempt to heat either the hotend ...

Re: Marlin_TAZ45_Uaru_1.0.0.1 Problem compiling

Hey alias I tried it out and was able to reproduce the errors you are seeing. I was also able to upload the firmware without any errors by doing the following: Get this arduino 1.0.5 from here http://downloads.arduino.cc/arduino-1.0.5-linux64.tgz , extract it. Then get the arduino addons from here h...

Re: Vase mode?

Yes, if you go to the "expert" menu up top, and then "switch to full settings..." then in the "expert" menu again, go to "open expert settings". In there under "black magic" there is a checkbox that says "spiralize the outer contour".

Woo!

Re: circle issue

Hey it looks like the belts might be a little loose. Go ahead and check the tension and if they are a bit loose, tighten them like in step 2 of this ohai https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/Final-mechanical-assembly/taz-6/ . Be careful not to over-tighten them as that can cause other issues. As far as ...

Re: 25mm calibration cube horizontal banding

That's more like it. All I'm seeing is layer lines, and they look within the dimensional accuracy specs of the machine. I don't think the flare on the bottom will induce screw-related wobble. After a few layers, prints tend to sort themselves out and the other related defects go with it. Even in the...
