Re: PEI bed surface

I don't know what the problem is. I have read about it on the forums for months and it seems like the best thing going. It is crap on this machine, that is for sure. Maybe I will try again after I upgrade the z axis. No worries dude I'm having similar issues but only with larger prints. :| What sid...

Re: Taulman Bridge Nylon

ok, thats what I thought may be the case and wanted to verify. I have the vitamins for a flexystruder and it is in the works as I also have a roll of ninjaflex here as well. The hotend part, I run my nozzle at 240 for abs so planned to use it. After seeing the kinking like PLA in your pics, I looks ...

Taulman Bridge Nylon

What extruder are you using for this? I got some from amazon sold by matterhacker the maker of mattercontrol. The ones I got are averaging 2.60 and the std extruder wont grip it, doesn't even scratch it with the tension maxed. Emailed him and he checked a few rolls and they were all > 2.7 he said th...

Re: Expanding the print envelope. What would be involved?

Once you get much wider than the current width of the TAZ you need to start worring about bearing rod tension and droop, or going with a supported rail, etc. Agreed, the x axis already has significant droop in the center compared to the edges that will get worse with an increased length. That's my ...

Re: Water Cooled Budaschnozzle 2.0

My test prints worked perfectly. I even left the nozzle at temp (200c) with PLA in the extruder after a print over night. In the morning I pulled the filament and was very warm at the tip but about an inch up was cool to the touch and the filament was very stiff. I would call it 100% success. Howeve...

Re: PEI bed surface

I have been soooo abusive to my glass bed and have had no damage to it. I have had prints stuch so bad I have used...

Re: Best way to align Z axis on a TAZ?

I had a similar issue with the right z motor. place a finger on the motor durring a print when the z is holding. I was feeling a very slight pulse on the rignt side. I was able to print to an extent, but had to re adjust the right side after each print as it would be high. After quadruple checking a...

Re: drive gear broken. why?

My original also broke. stripped slowly half a tooth and then one day the whole thing gave way. I had printed some in anticipation of such a thing happening, However I was a total nub at the time and the ones I printed where worthless. sliced all wrong. Was under warentee and they send me a new one ...
