Any red to red. Any white to either orange.
The components on your hot end are not directional.

Re: linear bearing backlash, big X axis issues

Hi erv, can you detail what and where you ordered from? I'd like to update my AO101 with this mod. Thanks.

Re: Temperature Drops after Print Starts

I've had that same connector on my AO101 melt too.
IMHO those connectors do not have a high enough amperage rating for the job they are being asked to do. I upgraded mine to a higher spec connector. Been fine ever since.

Re: gcode model help pls

If you use slic3r, there is a feature that allows you to set different layer heights at configurable Z heights. You can set the layer height to be zero for a section of the model. This effectively makes that section vanish. I have used this to remove the bottom off some parts I have printed in the p...

Re: Dual Extruders and the TAZ

That functionality is already in the latest Marlin firmware. I have 3 independently controlled fans on my dual extruder AO-101. One each for the heatsinks and one nozzle ducted fan. The hotend heatsink fans are configured in Marlin to come on when the hotend is above 120°C. The print cooling ducted ...

12v aux power max current limit ? (RAMBo 1.0e)

Hi, I want to wire up some 12v strip LEDs and power them off the either of the two 12v aux connectors. But I can't find any reference anywhere as to the max current they can safely deliver.

I have a lulzbot AO-101 with the RAMBo v1.0e

Thanks, Antony

Re: Filament keeps backing up

The sample 1m of lulzbot green is ABS not PLA. You need to be setting the hot end to 230.

Re: Why does PLA hate me now?

Have you cleaned out all of the previous ABS from the nozzle before starting to use PLA again?
Just a thought, as the remains of ABS will not melt nicely at PLA temps and could cause blockages.
Maybe worth taking the nozzle off and giving it a thorough clean out, if you haven't already.

Re: Rubber belt/tank track

Hi bwanamukubwa, The belts/tank tracks have no in-fill at all. They are just 2 perimeters 'thick' @ 0.6mm each. The rubber cup is printed in vase mode - so only 1 perimeter, although I did set that to be 1.2mm. I've since printed a vase with no base (i.e. another belt, but spiral instead of layers) ...
