Re: Lulzbot AO-101 for sale (CHEAP)

Not available anymore, I changed the whole extruder and it's now working like a charm.

Lulzbot AO-101 for sale (CHEAP)

Hi, I have decided to sell my AO-101. I have it since a year and a half, bought it 800$ from a guy that never used it, it was still packaged. I changed the nozzle for a budaschnozzle 2.0, added an extruder fan and put a larger fan on the RAMBO board to make it a bit more quiet. I have also modified ...

Re: upgrade AO-101 with LulzBot v2 (Hexagon) Hot End

Thank you Piercet but I'm not sure I want to dive in such modifications...

This printer is giving me headaches, there is always something that goes wrong .. I wish lulzbot had an upgrade program where you could get a discount on a new printer when you send the old one!

upgrade AO-101 with LulzBot v2 (Hexagon) Hot End

Hi guys, I just noticed that the LulzBot v2 (Hexagon) Hot End is supposed to be compatible with the AO-101. I already have a budaschnozzle 2.0c, but I'm having clogging issues, so it looks like a good occasion to upgrade! My question is how hard is it to fit an AO-101 with a LulzBot v2 (Hexagon) Hot...

Re: Incomplete G code making my prints fail?

I had this problem once and it was because I just loaded the gcode before slic3r had completed the export. If you are exporting really big files, it takes some time to write the gcode file, and that also varies from one version of slic3r to an other. It's a quick check, just make sure the green prog...

I know it's been a long time, but still have this problem using medium profile, even with ABS.

Kind of frustrating...

Re: Issues with printing Marvin from 3dhubs.com - bridge fai

I also printed the Marvin, and it was a tricky print. You really need the fan blowing very strong, if not 100%...

If it doesn't work within Cura, which I'm not familiar with, try "m106 s255" command directly in the console if you're using pronterface. That should start your fan and keeps it at 100%.

Re: Weird artifact around holes

Well it seems I'm the first one with this problem ???

Could it be a problem caused by the acceleration parameters ?

Weird artifact around holes

Hi, I noticed that when printing holes/cavities, I almost always get this kind of artifact (see picture below). It propagates for the whole length of the layers. I'm not even sure if it's a hardware or software issue? IMG_0824_mod.JPG Also, this print was made using the PLA-fine lulzbot profile, but...

Re: Same gcode, different results ...

For those interested, I think I solved the problem.

The z coupling between the right stepper and the thread rod was lose, so the threaded rod was able to move up and down. At the same time, I lubricated both threaded rods. Seems to have resolved my problem!

Thanks for all your suggestions.
