Why does using PTFE tape on the nozzle threads make it permanent? I ask because I JUST did that last night - the PFTE tape has no adhesive on it, so I'm not sure what makes it permanent.

My suggestion would be to move the Z axis to about 50mm above the bed and then try free extruding @ 200mm/min. The LB Transparent Blue PLA I have flows very nicely at about 185-190. smswedenburg, I'd recommend loosening the y axis mounts and sliding the whole thing towards you about 10-20mm. This will prevent the nozzle from striking the bed clip when at zero.
