Not when it's seized....lol

the tool head that was linked looks like a good deal, problem is, they're sold out. I heard the small nozzles clog though....

WANTED: used hex too head

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a spare hex hot end in good condition, preferably with a small nozzle 2-2.5mm. already installed but if the nozzle isn't jammed and can be removed, then that's fine.

I'm looking to have a spare hot end for super high res prints.. let me know what you have.

Re: HOT BOX 3DP ENCLOSURE SYSTEM (For Taz)

@Paul Morley Awesome build man, I love it, looks great. Can't complain when a 12 hour print comes out perfect :) @Choban, just follow the instructions carefully and you shouldn't have any problems, you can wing stuff if you need to, it's up to you. PLA is fine for the parts as they aren't in heat. @...

Re: Grabby

Thanks, they did come out nice. I ended up making some for my little cousins for x-mas also, I changed the name and put their names on. It was just a competition for fun, ranked high up.

Re: HOT BOX 3DP ENCLOSURE SYSTEM (For Taz)

Ethan, The metal version is already fleshed out in CAD, there are definitely some changes to the design that were made to make it more manufacture friendly and easier to ship. ie. the bent plexi is made in two parts so it can be flat pack shipped, all the panels are basically flat packable with smal...

Re: HOT BOX 3DP ENCLOSURE SYSTEM (For Taz)

Nice work. No, not a nozzle cleaner, but a small filament cleaner, like a sponge soaked in cleaner oil that the filament passes through before it enters the nozzle. There's a million of them up on thingiverse, we'd need to design one so that it can fit on the box. Like a plate design that can be scr...
