Re: Taz 4 Belt Problem

I slid the pulley a little further from the motor but it was super hard to move and didn't seem to make much difference.

Taz 4 Belt Problem

I've been getting some print problems related to the belt on the X axis of my Taz 4. I noticed that the belt has slid up against the bearing block where the belt slides on the bearings. This friction is wearing down the belt a bit and giving some issues with print quality. Does anyone have any ideas...

Taz 4 3 Point Bed Mounting

Has anyone modded their Taz for a 3 point bed mounting system? It makes sense that leveling 3 points would be easier than 4. I'd be interested to hear what people have come up with.

Re: Taz 4 Hotend Replacement

Any difference between the two hotends that makes one more favorable than the other?

Taz 4 Hotend Replacement

So I snapped the extension tube on my Budschnozzle trying to remove the nozzle. What is the most effective fix? Try to find a replacement tube and nozzle? Purchase a new Budaschozzle? Hexgaon? E3D?

Re: Mini with SD Card

Thanks for the help.

The issue isn't the school network being able make it work, it's the people that run it. ;)

I'd love to go with a Taz but I can't fit it in our budget.

Thanks for the link; I'll check it out.

Mini with SD Card

Hello, I'm in the process of putting together an order for my school to hopefully purchase a Lulzbot Mini. Unfortunately, I cannot dedicate a computer to the printer solely for printing. One solution I've read is Octoprint with a RaspberryPi and their touchscreen. The wifi feature is nice but I'm no...

Re: Igus Tribo Filament

I used digital calipers to get 1.89.

I did try to put it through the extruder.

Igus Tribo Filament

I got a few rolls of Igus Tribo filament for free recently and decided to try it out. The paperwork says it is similar to ABS. When I changed filaments (from HIPS) and tried extruding it, the Tribo would get all backed up and squirt out the sides of the feeder. It looked like it never got into the h...

Re: Print Height Problem

CacheFlow's post got me thinking. I tried removing a couple items from the file and print one object at a time. That helped. One thing I'm running into now is that it seems to be disregarding some items in the design. In this picture, it printed everything well except for the hinges, which were igno...
