Re: Clogged bore on TAZ6

That sounds more like your cold end fan is not cooling enough. The Stainless Steel heat break is pretty hard. and is not a good conductor of heat(reason it is used). So the filament should stay cool enough until it is over half way through the heat break before it gets hot. Side note: Make very sure...

Re: Clogged bore on TAZ6

I use a 3MM drill bit in a hand drill myself, but I have practiced a lot.

And only in the S.S. heat break. Allow the cold end to heat up slightly so the filament is softer.

Re: FlexyStruder gear not moving

The control board is not supplying enough torque(current) for the flexible extruder motor.

Re: Can the Taz6 move the 3kg spool from Polymaker?

If the large spool starts to turn, some times it does not want to stop. If you saw the spools in the AO printer farm they had sleeves on the arm to provide additional friction. So a bearing holder might unroll more than you would like. I have used 3KG rolls on my Taz 6 several times with the sleeve ...

I would check and see if you are not rubbing one of the belt ends on the teeth of the belt.

Re: TAZ 5 "Z" scaling issue

The Thermal protection on the driver chips kicks in at about 95F so you will get bad results if your control box is pulling in that hot of air temp.

Re: How to get started with a Taz 4 upgrade?

In # 3 did you save the file as a 'hex' file and not as a plain text file?

Did you do all the Taz 4 to 5 conversions?

Really would not mount to the wall. There is a good reason it has rubber feet on it.

Re: washers not laying flat after bed upgrade

I looked at the file for the old flexi corners(1.03) and they are 30% and the newer (1.04) are 60%. That could be reducing the flex of the newer machines corners. YMMV.
