Re: Einsy Rambo 1.1 Mini 1

Fantastic, working on it now. Once I figure out where the wires go on the new board and test it out, I put my fork up on github in case anyone else needs it (presuming I don't accidentally set my printer on fire or anything).

Re: Einsy Rambo 1.1 Mini 1

I found the Marlin Source https://code.alephobjects.com/project/profile/6/ so I'm thinking copy the Hibiscus_Mini2 from https://code.alephobjects.com/diffusion/MARLIN/browse/devel/Marlin/Conditionals_LulzBot.h and make my own with some of the flags turned off (like the LCD ones, for example). Doesn'...

Einsy Rambo 1.1 Mini 1

So let's say I were getting an Einsy Rambo to put in my original Mini. What are thoughts on the best way to deal with the firmware for that? I'm not particularly concerned about catching skipping or power loss etc right now, I mostly just want my mini to be quieter. The two most likely scenarios see...

Re: Lulzbot Mini : Cura : OverExtruding ~15%

I have to set my flow rate to 60% for any sort of decent dimensional accuracy, so yeah, I'm with you. The sense I got from talking with Support is that they've optimized for ease of printing non-functional items, though it's interesting that I have to go even farther than you for properly-dimensione...

Re: Designing enclosure for Mini 3D

I know it wasn't your big design goal, but does this enclosure do much for the noise? If I can eliminate a lot of the high-pitched noise, life with the printer would be a lot better.

Re: Significantly wrong flow rate

Z Steps seem fine. I auto-leveled, moved z to 0, moved Z to 150, then measured, and it's within 1/2mm of 150 in either direction depending on my measurement with the calipers. I can print something out, but I even if it's off, it's not going to be off that much.

Weird.

Re: Designing enclosure for Mini 3D

I'm working on a build that will cut down on the noise. As I get more into it, I'll post some better info. Everything is open-concept here, so I'm going to see if I can't make it look a bit closer to furniture than the average printer enclosure. I'm planning to go with exhaust fans as well, but with...

How to documents are at https://ohai-kit.alephobjects.com/group/mini/ . If you go to the LulzBot downloads page https://www.lulzbot.com/support/downloads you'll find a link to the Mini Source http://download.lulzbot.com/Mini/ , which will have all of the printable parts, plus everything else you nee...

Re: Significantly wrong flow rate

Here's the modified profile with the functioning flow rate. Modified HIPS Profile.ini It's mostly the stock HIPS profile for the mini from the downloads page, except that the first layer isn't quite so dramatically different from the others and I've modified the flow rate / diameter. I did chat with...

Re: Significantly wrong flow rate

Piercet, I used calipers for my measurement of filament diameter. 10 places, averaged, and it was a little wider than expected, but I'd already put that into the slicer. ThomR, I would expect that for small adjustments, but when the flow rate has to be set to 60%, I would expect that it's something ...
