Re: Removing filament from the Aerostruder

I extrude 10mm, click on cool nozzle, watch it cool to about 160, push back on the spring and pull it right out no problem! For those who are experiencing stripping their filament, try turning that silver thumbwheel screw in the back next too the mounting plate (I think counter clockwise is the loos...

Re: Filament grinding

Why don’t you just chalk it up as heat creep is a problem with PLA and move on? No sense on mentioning that you should print with PetG or T-glase and all your problems will be solved cause you know damn well your problem will be solved only not with one type of filament, PLA. Have you read the this ...

Re: Filament grinding

Yeah I’m just saying that there’s been sooooo much discussion here on these forums about failed prints with PLA filament. Let’s understand that PLA has one of the lowest melting points of the most common filaments and is one of the cheapest filaments price wise. Unfortunately it’s melting point is j...

Re: Filament grinding

Upgrade your print head to the Aerostruder and be sure to purchase and put on the silicone soc. I’m able to do 12 hour prints with PLA with this print head (and this is with a .2mm nozzle) Filament is really easy to load with the aerostruder print head too. The stock printhead would often fail in ab...

Where is this plugin? How do I get it? How do I toggle it?
I'm using Cura LE 3.2.23
Installed and Browse Plugins doesn't show a "Pause at Height" plugin

Re: Lulzbot Mini, PLA first layer wavy, not flat

Its all about that Z-offset. Z offset is the distance between "0" and your printing surface. Lulzbot finds your 0 at the top of the washers. Anything below that will be a negative value ; below zero. If you have a micrometer measure the thickness of the washer, the bottom of your washer will be the ...

Re: Taz 6 leveling issue

Try cleaning your nozzle and washers with rubbing alcohol. Be sure to have it powered off when cleaning the nozzle else you’ll blow an internal micro fuse.
