Re: Lulzbot taz 6 - Toughest printable material

Hi spam, to answer your question, the din rail supplier in my country has been monopolizing the market. Resulting in my client, whose company is a main switchboard manufacturer and supplier to rise up in cost. He don't mind having substitute for the steel bar. Also he is the one who came up to me in...

Re: Lulzbot taz 6 - Toughest printable material

Hi piercet,

Thank you! Ah polycarbonate, i read that it needs a very high temp. 295 nozzle and 150 bed correct? Do you think nylon is enough for this print? Polycarbonate seems overkill lol.

Lulzbot taz 6 - Toughest printable material

Hello... My client asked if my printer can print DIN RAIL. If you dont know what is it, it's a straight horizontal bar to hold PCB in a switchboard. Check it out https://www.google.com.bn/search?q=din+rail&rlz=1C1CHBD_enBN732BN733&espv=2&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiYgMr75NrSAhUMU7wKH...

Re: Dual Extruder calculator Taz6

AGREED TO ALL OF THE ABOVE. It is so hard to find owners of Taz 6 to share this issue with. There are only a handful of people owning Taz 6 due to the price tag. As such, I can hardly find any answer to the problem, other that just posting here. I made a huge mistakes, I bought not only the dual ext...

Re: Dual Extruder calculator Taz6

In addition to JasonT question, the tutorial itself is not mean for newbie of 3D printer. I can't understand the estep configuration part. In the guide it tells us to take note of the esteps behind the extruder for configuration later. Which is e0 and e1. When I reached the part where it instructs m...

Re: Got My New Taz 6, Have Some Questions.

3. From what I understand, and if I understand your question correctly :D The Taz 6 SD card slot does not "communicate" with your computer even though the printer is connected to your PC. Correct, there is nothing wrong with your SD card. You will need to take the SD card and insert to your PC to sa...

Re: Dual Extruder calculator Taz6

Yes it is inverted, I am not sure why they didnt correct this during testing. Maybe they didnt test it? I totally stopped using the dual extruder and swapped it back to single for another reason. It is VERY hard to align both nozzle, especially the T1. It makes most of my dual colour printing or sup...

Re: Taz 6 print bed

I have some fresh unused kapton tape at home. Is it worth using once my PEI bed reached it's full usability?

Taz 6 print bed

Is it advisable to print directly on the Taz 6 print bed without any tape or liquid? I've been printing like this since my first purchase without applying anything on it. All my material sticks well as long as I got the temp. right. But, i notice some discoloration on the bed. What is the effect in ...
