Re: Lulzbot 6 printing PLA printing circle/extrude issue

Your prints dont look bad at all actually. You just need some info.... When I look at your pic, it looks like your esteps (830) for your extruder look like the stock settings for new uncalibrated firmware. At the factory the extruder was calibrated. The correct esteps for your extruder is on a stick...

Re: A couple of questions on The new Modular bed system

More weight/mass for belts, motors = more back lash? More ringing/ ghosting?

How fast can we print without getting ghosting with new modular print bed system?

Re: Firmware bug: Infinite change filament loop?

Thanks ninja, for the response. My CR-10s4 has the newer motherboard. It came with filament sensor already configured and running correctly. I'm not using Octoprint's filament sensor pluggin with it, its got the filament sensor from the factory hard wired to the motherboard. Only started having this...

Re: Firmware bug: Infinite change filament loop?

I have come across this same issue on my Taz6. I use octoprint with a filament sensor connected. I couldnt figure out why the printer stayed in the filament change loop. I thought it was the debounce of the sensor or the way the filament pause got triggered by the octoprint pluggin. But like you I e...

Re: IMPORTANT! Problem with Dual V3 and/or new Cura

I'm glad you posted your issues. I hope they get addressed by Lulzbot quickly.
I was going to buy the v3 dual head and modular print bed system for Taz 6, but now I think i'll wait for the bugs to be worked out. I had a hard time with the flexydually.

Re: What should we make next?

Filament Sensor
Power Failure Recovery
Higher Print speeds

Removable flexible build plate
Wifi
Better screen, Touch perhaps
32 bit motherboard

I would also argue for a cheaper price, given the prusa Mk3's feature set. $2500 is lot now a days for what the Taz 6 offers and is missing.

Re: Ditched my skirt for this Prusa i3 Mk2 style wipe feature I made for the TAZ 6

Great idea. I have a prusa mk2s, with mk3 on the way. I too was jealous of the prusa prime method. For one thing the blob at beginning didn't always stick to bed, and it would get caught in your skirt or model. Another thing the blob wasnt always enough filament extruded, especially if you cancelled...

Re: Octoprint Filament Runout Sensor

Noticed sometimes the printer would get stuck in a loop. It would move down to the print to start printing then immediately pause again. Trying to figure out the cause of this behavior. I think it may be the debounce timing of the sensor in the reloaded pluggin or me issuing m601 in "After print job...

Re: Marlin 1.1 config for TAZ6?

Had a chance to play around with the advanced pause feature more........ Marlin_TAZ6_SingleExtruder_1.1.5.32_e424c92.hex In the config file I noticed you had #define PAUSE_PARK_X_POS 10 #define PAUSE_PARK_Y_POS (303 - 0) - 10 #define PAUSE_PARK_Z_ADD 10 #define PAUSE_PARK_XY_FEEDRATE 100 #define PAU...
