Re: CURA 14.9 USING EXPERT SETTINGS

Also on the subject of trying to print ninjaflex do I need a bigger nozzle than the standard Taz 5 which I think is 0.35mm ? reason I ask is the extruder seams to work well till the filament actually reaches the nozzle then loads up and wont push the filament through Indeed, our Flexystruder for th...

Re: Unable to Print 148x148 Square on Mini

Thanks for posting up that file. When first loading in the STL, it is greyed out using our standard profile settings. You are spot on with it being the skirt. I needed to reduce the settings to : Line Count: 1 Start Distance: 0.1 Minimal Length: 0 I believe the minimum length of 75mm (75mm of filame...

Re: Missing Hole

Strange one. Loaded up the file and shows the hole in all view modes except layers. Layers shows it printing as a solid disk. I loaded up the STL into Slic3r and it is showing 98 manifold errors. You will probably get better results if you can clean that up in your cad program. I don't have much CAD...

Re: Shifting, offset layers on y-axis

I am sorry to hear about the problems you have been having with your Mini. We do intend for these printers to work directly out of the box. When an issue like this occurs, we would like to get the unit back for an evaluation to help prevent issues for customers in the future. With the problems out o...

Re: offsets in Y direction

Glad to hear you got it nailed down! You should be able to adjust positioning without removing anything. You will notice that part of the motor shaft sticks up above the pulley. With your printer turned off, hold the motor shaft in place with a pair of pliers. You can then manually move the plate fo...

Re: Wire Harness Routing Clips for Extrusion

I love them! I am constantly swapping out tool heads and wiring harnesses for testing purposes, and have flown through my share of zipties. It is now a thing of the past!

Re: offsets in Y direction

Rifo, Check the two set screws on your Y axis stepper pulley. This will be the 16 toothed gear that attaches the Y axis belt to the motor. One set screw should be on the flat portion of the motor, and both should be tight. Chances are they are loose, which causes the slipping in the Y direction, and...

Re: TAZ4 Y-Axis won't move backwards?

Heyo! When you first power up your printer, it is going to consider the position of the toolhead and bed as its "minimum" position. The firmware will prevent your machine from moving lower than 0 in any axis. (No negative movements) In order to reset the minimum position, please home all axis throug...

Re: Water tight containter with T-Glase? Is it possible?

Hello Mike, The first thing I would recommend is increasing your temperature to 240c. (You can even bump it to 260c if you are using a Hexagon Hotend) This should help adhesion, and prevent leaks from between layers. After looking over the file, the droops you are seeing are most likely due to the o...

Re: Printing on TAZ5 with TPU

As S3D is a proprietary program, we have no experience with it. I would recommend opening up Cura, loading in the NinjaFlex profile and manually transferring as many settings as possible. (No clue what S3D has, but some of them must transfer.) This will give you a good starting point. With a little ...
