Re: Version 1 Mini Extrusion Issue

With the hexagon hot end, the first thing we will want to do is to check your heat sink fan. This is the middle fan pointed directly at the heatsink (The horizontal hexagon metal plates.) This fan is on a dedicated 5v connection and should turn on full blast whenever the printer is turned on. Please...

Re: OctoPrint With Cura Lulz Edition

You can disable the automatic slicing. I personally like to keep automatic slicing disabled. This will put a prepare button where the print button is for you to use.

Re: New Aerostruder Micro tool head?

Generally the slower you print the lower you will want the temperature. Since the SL tool-head is putting filament a lot slower because of the smaller nozzle size this makes the ideal printing temperature lower than a standard tool-head. With the filament not sticking to the bed, did you update your...

Re: Calibration Cube Taz6

I'm not aware of a way to have Cura automatically do this when importing an stl.

The less simple way would be to adjust your X,Y, and Z steps/mm. The issue with this is that it can affect your auto-leveling if adjusted too much since the corner positions are more or less hard coded into the firmware.

Re: Toolhead is constantly way too much above bed.

If you've switched from a dual extruder V3 recently you may just need to remove the button extension.

Re: Linear Advance with Dual Extrusion

I haven't tried this myself so I can't 100% verify but you should be able to do this by putting the gcode to set your K values in the Hot End 1 and Hot End 2 Start gcodes. You can find the hot-end start codes by selecting Settings>Printer>Manage Printers>Machine settings. You'll see there are three ...

Re: Lutzbot TAZ 6 Printer Nozzle Drags back through print

You may want to first try manually cleaning off the nozzle. It's likely there is material on the nozzle and that's making the printer think the bed is lower than it actually is. We recommend using a non conductive scotch brite pad as anything metal that comes in contact with the nozzle risks sending...
