Re: Open GL errors using Remote Desktop

It's been a few month since I've tried this so excuse me if this information is wrong or doesn't work anymore. I was able to get Cura working with a remote desktop session by using a software implementation of OpenGL. Nvidia wants you to buy their premium GPUs to do things like this. That's basicall...

Re: Filament suggestions

NinjaFlex is reported to have a shore hardness of 85 so depending on your needs that may still be a good fit. In order to print flexible materials with your Taz 6 you will need either a Flexystuder or an Aerostruder to do so. https://www.lulzbot.com/store/tool-heads/lulzbot-taz-flexystruder-tool-hea...

Re: LulzBot Aerostruder v2 Micro Toolhead for Mini1

We recently released the adapter for the Taz5/6 and Mini. I've included links to those below: https://www.lulzbot.com/store/accessories/universal-tool-head-adapter-taz-5-6 https://www.lulzbot.com/store/accessories/universal-tool-head-adapter-mini-1 Probably the biggest change between the V1 and V2 A...

Re: Home in Cura is not the same as home using GLCD

What you are seeing here is intentional for the newer firmware. When the printer homes the Z axis it now has a safe homing value applied which moves it away from the corner when homing the Z axis. This is to accommodate for the extra space needed on V2.1+ tool-heads which have an extra fan on the le...

Re: Lulzbot 3.2.27 crashing

Since the errors indicate in a few places VCRUNTIME that makes me think it's related to the Visual C++ prerequisite. Could you please try installing the Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable and update? https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...

Re: Replacement nozzles for Taz4 Budaschnozzle

One of our re-sellers itworks3d has a good selection of parts available for our older printers. Here is a link to their Taz 4/5 parts page: https://itworks3d.com/product-category/parts/taz-4-5-parts/ Here is a link to their nozzles page where they have Buda style nozzles at the bottom. https://itwor...

Re: Z homing issues

When leveling a Taz 5 bed I've always homed all, then I'll disable steppers and move the tool-head and bed corner to corner by hand. Then I'll home again, disable steppers, check my work, rinse and repeat as necessary. I think this has something to do with Z safe homing that's been enabled on the Ta...

Re: 1.75 mm extruder/hot end

While it's not ideal to use 1.75mm in our hot-ends it can be done if you're not averse to un-jamming your tool-head a bit more often. We do have a guide with tips and tricks for printing with 1.75mm https://www.lulzbot.com/learn/tutorials/tips-and-tricks-printing-175mm-filament I also noticed on the...

The link kcchen_00 shared are for the source files where you can make all the changes you want. This is like the raw cookie dough. gcarril the link you shared is the pre-compiled versions of the firmware. This means you cannot make any changes to those. This is like the baked cookie. They are both s...
