Re: ColorChange plugin is bugged

ColorChange probably suffers from the same issue that PauseAtHeight suffered from. The changes to PauseAtHeightorLayer (or is it LayerorHeight) can be copied over to fix it. The issue has to do with rafts, start gcode Z changes, etc. The plugin needs to identify the "real" layer 1 and start counting...

Re: Raspberry Pi Camera/Print Monitor Setup?

Setting up the Raspberry Pi camera is quite complicated and one must need some guidance to set up for the first time. So, I will suggest you visit [spam link] to get the entire guidance about this and hope it will help a lot. I wouldn't say "is quite complicated". Maybe "can be complicated" but the...

Re: Dual V2 now a boat anchor

LulzBot does have Marlin sources with config files available for all of their toolheads, past and present. Knowing which Marlin thermistor model is currently used should help you find one that uses the same algorithm. The firmware has the ability to adjust the PID values.

Re: Temperature ladder

Pick a temperature tower model. The model should have instructions that describe its geometry including a recommended layer height. Using these parameters in your slicer and produce a .gcode file. Edit this .gcode file inserting "M104 Sxxx" commands at the appropriate locations (by layer or by heigh...

Re: Cura crashes

You might try Ultimaker Cura 4.2.1 instead of CuraLE 3.6.18. You can export profiles from CuraLE and import them into Ultimaker Cura but the settings are almost identical. You will have to create a printer profile for your LulzBot printer but again, you can cut and paste. I was able to get 8 3DBench...

Re: Dual V3 bed alignment

On my TAZ 6, I had to do a tiny bit of filing / sanding on my Dual V3 mount to make sure it seated properly each time I install it. I also had to loosen and tighten the "foot" on the toolhead mount as it was slightly off and the screw at the top didn't line up. With the single toolhead, the seating ...

Re: Z-level height

Is there a possibility that the firmware is having a glitch when printing multiple items at a time? No. The cleaning / auto-leveling commands are part of the start gcode. This gcode only has knowledge of a few settings (i.e. temperatures) and knows nothing about what objects have been placed for sl...

Re: How is Percentage Done Calculated?

I miss the days when Cura would give you real time feedback of which layer was currently being printed. This definitely came in handy if there were issues or print errors with a model on a particular layer. I don't know why this feature has been removed. Seems like a step backwards. One could easil...

Re: Temperature ladder

I'm assuming the temperature ladder is an .stl file that is sliced to produce .gcode. The .stl file can be procedurally generated but none of the existing slicers that I am aware of have a way of dynamically changing the hotend temperature (unless it supports post-processing extensions). G-code does...

Re: Taz 6 Z Probe: I need some bed leveling help

I think your X axis might need to be leveled as the left side is .8+ and the right side is .0+. Take a look at https://forum.lulzbot.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=10374 for a quick check and leveling procedure. Also, take a look at https://forum.lulzbot.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=7904 which discusses even ...
