Re: Gaps between perimeter and fill

No I'm using Slic3r. Based on the link you mentioned though, I took note of the zit event as it printed. It appears the zit is happening at the end of the perimeter extrusion. (looked like the end of the perimeter extrusion was overlapping the beginning.) Neither retraction or z lift appeared to mak...

Re: Gaps between perimeter and fill

Ok, I set 8 top layers and changed the layer height to .2. The top is now filled. But: as seen in the side image, there seems to be a build up around the corners, so they are up swept watching while printing, it's clear the layers aren't solidified before the next layer is being extruded changing th...

jim2386 wrote:What is your layer thickness setting and how many top layers do you have set?
Layer height = .4mm
Top layers = 3

I also notice the gaps are more prevalent on the -y and -x side when I print the 20x20 cube.

Re: Gaps between perimeter and fill

The arrow shown below points to the gap between the flat surface and the perimeter it's supposed to close. The infill can be seen below (that is, into the z axis of the photo) the fill and the perimeter (not in this photo, too much black). puck-1.gif I have attached the Slic3r filament and print .in...

Re: drooping perimeters

You're leaving out a lot of information: 1. What material are you using? ABS, nozzle temp 230, bed 110 2. What profile are you using? Basic or expert mode? I'm using Slic3r, in this case the default settings. 3. Can you post your profile if it is different than a stardard profile supplied by lulzbo...

Gaps between perimeter and fill

I'm printing in ABS and I'm getting the gaps where the infill is supposed to meet the perimeter seen in this photo:
puck.gif
I've messed with a lot of settings with little improvement.

Any ideas on trouble shooting this?

drooping perimeters

I'm printing the standard 20x20x20 cube and getting some interesting corners. To me it appears that the perimeters between the corners are collapsing (or the corners are building up higher than the mid of the perimeters.) Also, I don't quite get whats happening with the right side corner and the zip...

Re: Bed heater show E:0 on Pronterface display

Hmm...I never paid much attention to the line when it worked. So I never leaned what it was trying to say. :? I jumped to the "bed is having an issue" since it was not heating when the heat on gcode was being sent. In any case, I shut it all down for the night. The next day I tested the resistance o...

Bed heater show E:0 on Pronterface display

So, I'm using pronterface to print on my Ao-101.

Not sure this is a software or hardware issue...

When I set the bed temp on the display shows E:0 instead of what I'm used to seeing, the 110 or what ever it was set to.

Does this mean my bed heater is dead?

AO-101 rambo misc questions

Hi, So I know the AO-101 is not the hot topic anymore, but, I have one and have some general questions. The RAMBO board is labeled 10000282. The printer was made as one of the last before the TAZ was released. Would the latest versions of the Marlin software run on it? Does this RAMBO board have inp...
